As markets for smaller materials grew CM developed its patented Liberator™. As its name implies, the CM Liberator is a highly advanced system for the liberation of tire wire from the rubber. CM knew that if clean steel was produced it could be sold to steel mills creating an additional revenue steam thereby eliminating costly disposal fees. For the processor looking to maximize their profits adding a Steel Reclaim System after the Liberator will further screen and separate comingled steel and rubber that is generated from the tire recycling process. The material value can be greatly enhanced by this additional Zero Waste Processing solution. The system utilizes a special screen in combination with magnetic separators to reclaim all of the steel and rubber.
CM Primary Shredders are the workhorse of the industry. They process from off road tires down to passenger tires. Larger off road tires may need to be pre-cut and or debeaded prior to processing. They process whole tires into rough shreds for disposal. These rough shreds can also be fed to Chipping Shredders to produce specifically sized chips in high production applications for Tire Derived Aggregate (TDA) or Tire Derived Fuel (TDF). With the addition of a disc screen the Primary Shredder can be used to produce 4 to 6 inch chips ideal for Stage 2 processing in Crumb Rubber applications.
The CM Granulator & Fiber Removal System can accept 6-19 mm minus wire free crumb and process it down to 1-4 mm granulate rubber (10-20 mesh). Screens are used to size the material and the air system is used to extract the remaining nylon fiber. See extra details at Tire Recycling.
