Looking for logo design Bradford? We have an answer for you and also some comments on the web design industry trends for 2019 and beyond.

Animating secondary elements is a great way to visually enrich a site without using up excessive resources, which can lead to increased loading times. These animations often form part of the microinteractions, creating fluid user experiences. With tools like Lottie and Bodymovin, fluid, organic and more complex animations come to life. Of course, CSS and Javascript offer many possibilities for animating interfaces, they offer a lot of control of parameters, easing curves, blending modes, filters, svg morphing, etc, but require a lot of skill. We often find vectorial elements animated with organic morphing, imitating liquid or gooey effects in interfaces and microinteractions, and of course typography is not exempt from these types of animations and transformations!

No trends list would be complete without some form of retro design making its comeback. In the case of glitch art, it’s retro gone wrong-those moments when crinkled film or a slow dial-up connection led to a distorted, if unintentionally striking, image. Glitches are significant in our modern times when computers are so pervasive. We fear the machines taking over, but we also don’t know what we’d do without them. Hence, the breakdown of technology makes for appealing subject matter both as an idea and in its design execution, where it can draw the viewer’s eye to those parts of the site that are warped, double exposed and glitchy. It’s a strange, futuristic time we live in, and no one is quite sure where it is all heading. Glitch art amplifies this feeling of disorientation by giving websites a distinctly psychedelic look.

It wasn’t all that long ago that we proclaimed that the scroll was dead. (We missed the boat on that one, obviously.) More designers will deploy single page designs with interesting scroll features and immersive storytelling to keep users engaged. Single-page design actually works better on mobile and smaller devices because users can get everything with trying to navigate the menu. And mobile users – likely the highest number of your website visitors – are accustomed to scrolling. Don’t ignore this growing user pattern.
